This contest pertains the “Free Al Safa Foods Products for One Year”, presented by Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd.

Contest Period

This contest begins on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. EST (Eastern Standard Time). This contest will end on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 11:59 P.M. EST (Eastern Standard Time).

Eligibility

This contest is open to legal residents of Canada, (excluding Quebec) who are aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. For any contestant who has not reached the specified age, parent or guardian consent/accompaniment is necessary to claim the prize. Void where prohibited.

Exclusions include all past/previous winners from any/all giveaways, contests held by Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. Exclusions include known affiliates of Al Safa Foods. This includes but is not limited to: affiliates, influencers, suppliers, advertising/promotional agencies, administrators, intermediate family/those living under the same household of Al Safa Foods employees, subsidiaries, employees/contractors and sponsors. All eligibility is subject to federal, provincial and local laws and regulations.

Agreement to the Rules

By participating in this campaign held by Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd., the contestant (“You”) agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these rules; you represent and warrant you meet the eligibility requirements, and agree to accept the decisions made by Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. as final and binding as it relates to the content of this campaign. The giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws. All entries must comply with the Official Rules and Regulations set by Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd.

Contest Description

For the third year in a row, Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. is giving two lucky winners a chance to win free Al Safa Foods products for a year. Not only will there be two grand prize winners; but ten secondary prize winners. In celebration of Eid, Al Safa Foods will also be awarding one hundred third prize winners. This contest will be run exclusively as a multi-network giveaway, utilizing our three social media platforms: Facebook (/Alsafafood), Instagram (@alsafafoods), and Twitter (@alsafafoods).

How to enter

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Unlimited entries. Entries valid from: Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. (Eastern Standard Time) to Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 11:59 P.M. (Eastern Standard Time).

All entrants must have a valid account on the designated platform in which they have used to enter this contest. Instagram, Facebook and Twitter terms and conditions apply. Your entry will be reviewed for compliance and if approved, deemed eligible for entry. Entries that do not include any/all of the above requirements set by each social media platform as stated above will not be recognized as a valid entry. Prize Descriptions

The grand prize will be awarded to two individuals, valued at a maximum of $1,500 each. The grand prize awards free Al Safa Foods products for one year – totaling a maximum value of $3,000 worth of Al Safa Foods products.

The value of $1,500 will be awarded through 100 coupons. Each coupon has a maximum redeemable amount of $15/each. All 100 coupons will be mailed out to the entrant up to 30 days after being name the winner of the grand prize. Coupons valid from: August 1^st, 2021 to August 1^st, 2022.

The secondary prize will be awarded to ten individuals. Each secondary prize consists of a maximum of ten free Al Safa Foods products, valued at up to a maximum of $150. Each coupon has a maximum redeemable amount of $15/each.

Secondary prize winners will either: (a) receiving ten Free Al Foods products coupons worth up to a maximum of $150; or (b) receiving a $150 digital voucher for a one time use on Al Safa’s Home Delivery website (www.shop-alsafahalal.com) – digital vouchers will be shared using a unique code to be applied as a coupon at Al Safa’s Home Delivery website. All secondary prize coupons will be mailed out to the winners up to 30 days after being name the winner of the secondary prize (if applicable). All secondary prize digital coupon codes will be shared via email to the winners up to 30 days after being named the winner of the secondary prize (if applicable). Coupons valid from: August 1^st, 2021 to August 1^st, 2022.

The third prize will be awarded to one hundred individuals. Each secondary prize consists of a maximum of two free Al Safa Foods products, valued at up to a maximum of $30. Each coupon has a maximum redeemable amount of $15/each

Third prize winners will either: (a) receiving three Free Al Foods products coupons worth up to a maximum of $30; or (b) receiving a $30 digital voucher for a one time use on Al Safa’s Home Delivery website (www.shop-alsafahalal.com) – digital vouchers will be shared using a unique code to be applied as a coupon at Al Safa’s Home Delivery website. All secondary prize coupons will be mailed out to the winners up to 30 days after being name the winner of the secondary prize (if applicable). All secondary prize digital coupon codes will be shared via email to the winners up to 30 days after being named the winner of the secondary prize (if applicable). Coupons valid from: August 1^st, 2021 to August 1^st, 2022.

No cash and/or other prize substitution shall be permitted except by the sole discretion of Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. Prize is non-transferable. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted.

Announcement of winners will be published on Al Safa Foods social media accounts.

Chance of winning

The chance if winning this prize is 11 in 29million based on the Canadian population, excluding Quebec.

Redemption

Coupons can be redeemed at the following participating locations: Food Basics, Adonis, FreshCo, No Frills, Real Canadian Superstore, Metro, Sobeys, Fortinos, Walmart, and Loblaws. It is not available for redemption at any other retailer/grocer. Coupons not redeemed during the designated time (August 1^st, 2021 to August 1^st, 2022) will be forfeited. Provisional Law may require the retailer to charge the applicable tax on the full value of the purchase(s) before the reduction in coupon value. HST is included in the face value where applicable. Unauthorized reproduction in coupon value is strictly prohibited. Limit five coupons per transaction. Not valid with any other coupon offers. No substitutions. Cannot be sold, refunded for money, transferred or exchanged for cash.

To the Dealer: Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. will reimburse you the face value of this coupon, plus our specified handling fee, provided it is redeemed by your consumer at the time of purchase on the specified date. A maximum of five coupons per transaction may be redeemed at one time. Other applications constitute fraud. Failure to send in, on request, evidence that sufficient stock was purchased in the previous 90 days to cover coupons present, will void coupons. Coupons submitted becomes our property. How the Winner is Selected

Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd will be using www.easypromos.com and its multi-network giveaway application to randomly select the two grand prize winners and ten secondary winners. Winners will be pooled across all three platforms. Winners will not be selected per platform. Unlimited entries valid. A certificate of validity will be issued on behalf of www.easypromos.com to prove/guarantees this giveaway is fair, transparent and random. A list of alternate winners will be selected if the grand prize winner cannot be contacted. A list of alternate winners will be selected if the secondary prize winners cannot be contacted.

On Monday, July 19^h, 2021 the random selection for the two grand prize winners, ten secondary winners, and one hundred third prize winners will take place among all eligible entries received during the contest period. All winners will be contacted via direct/personal message on the social media platform they have entered from. Winners have 48hours to respond and claim their prize. Winners will be required to sign a release form and answer a skill-testing question.

If the winners do not respond to claim their prize within the allotted 48hours from time of contact, alternate winners will be contacted. Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices/direct messages due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winners cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 48hours from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (AT AL SAFA FOOD CANADA LTD.‘S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CAMPAIGN, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

Release Form

Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Winners will be required to sign a release form that authorizes Al Safa Foods to: utilize their name, image and/or voice/video may be used for advertising purposes; releases Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this contest, or from the awarding or acceptance or use of the prize, utilization/misuse of prize; acknowledge by submitting an entry your username and/or profile picture may be posted on Al Safa Foods social media pages (not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Website, etc.) where it may be viewed, shared, and commented on by the organizer and general public.

Entrants must consent to have read and accept the giveaway rules and conditions. Grand Prize winners must consent to a follow up interview up to 12 months after being announced grand prize winner. Canadian residents are required to answer a skill testing question in order to claim prize. By entering this giveaway you understand and agree that Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd., anyone acting on behalf of Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd., and Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd.’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to: print, publish, broadcast, distribute, edit, adapt, perform/modify such entry in any way in any/all media platforms, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Campaign, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes.

All personal contact information is collected by Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd strictly for administering this contest and/or product knowledge and will not be used for any other purpose without consent. Winners’ addresses will be needed specifically to mail out the two grand prizes and ten secondary prizes. Winners must sign, date and submit release form back to Al Safa Foods within 24hrs hours in order to claim prize.

Terms and Conditions

Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Campaign should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd.’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Campaign. In such case, Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. may select the Winner from all eligible entries/alternates received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Campaign or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Campaign, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Campaign rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Disputes

THIS GIVEAWAY IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF CANADA AND ONTARIO PROVINCE. As a condition of participating in this Campaign, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Campaign, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Ontario having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Campaign). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

 

Limitation of Liability

By entering this giveaway, you consent that Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. will not be liable/held accountable once prize has been mailed to winner(s). Al Safa Foods Canada Ltd. ensures proper working condition of said prize prior to being sent to recipients, therefore will not replace damage/defective prizes.

Description Du Prix

Un grand prix sera décerné à un individu. Le grand prix de prix gratuit Al Safa Aliments produits pour un an, d’une valeur jusqu’à un maximum de 1 000$. La valeur de 1 000 $sera attribué par 100 coupons. Tous les 100 coupons seront envoyés par la poste pour le participant jusqu’à 30 jours après le nom de la gagnante du grand prix. Coupons valable à partir du: 1er août 2019 au 31 juillet 2020. Des prix seront donnés en direct à la Nourriture Halal Fest À 2019, situé à Mississauga, le dimanche 21 juillet 2019, donc le gagnant du grand prix doit être présent ce jour-là au cours de cette manifestation pour réclamer le prix. Cinq gagnants du prix secondaire sera décerné à cinq personnes. Halal Food Fest TO 2019

Le grand prix sera présenté par Al Safa Alimentaire Canada chef de la direction en direct à la Nourriture Halal Fest À 2019, situé à Mississauga, le dimanche 21 juillet 2019 au Centre International, 6900 Airport Rd, Entrée 5. Le gagnant du grand prix doit être présent ce jour-là au cours de cette manifestation pour réclamer le prix. Photos et vidéos seront prises au moment de la présentation. Si le gagnant n’est pas là pour réclamer leur prix ou est incapable de le faire à l’événement, le gagnant est soumis à renoncer au prix.

Formulaire De Décharge

Les gagnants seront tenus de signer un formulaire de décharge qui l’autorise à Al Safa Aliments: utiliser son nom, son image et/ou voix/vidéo peut être utilisée à des fins publicitaires.
